Caden:
Weight: 6 pounds 10 ounces

In the first week, he gained back all of his weight and more! Nursing is going well and we are all still adjusting to the “new” routine.

Our second son, Caden James Martin, was born this evening at 6:30 pm. He weighs 6lbs 6ozs and is 19 inches long.
Shannon had a very fast delivery. We arrived at the hospital at 6:07pm and delivered at 6:30…whew, that’s cutting it close =)

Cooper:
Weight: 23 pounds 11 ounces
Height: 31.75 inches
Cooper is walking and a whole new world has opened up for him. He took his first real step about a week ago, but it’s off to the races now =) We better start preparing for all the bumps and bruises that this new skill will bring.
Cooper is 1 year old today. We had a small party for him last weekend with some family and a few friends. He’s standing up on his own and is getting ready to walk any day…
Cooper is too young to realize, but his world is going to change this year. That’s right…Shannon and I are expecting our second child in September…the estimated due date is September 21st…just 3 days before my birthday!
They will be about 16 months apart so we’ll have plenty of new and exciting challenges ahead =) We will be able to find out the gender sometime in May, but at this point we are just praying for a healthy baby.
Cooper has been able to stand with support for awhile, but today he pulled himself up into a standing position all by himself.
Cooper starting clapping today. As with any of his other newfound skills, he claps at anything and everything and for any reason.
